Louvered pergolas & motorized fabric roofs
Louvered pergola with sheer curtains · QIP
15year warranty
Quickly and quietly, the fabric roof slides back to reveal blue sky and a gentle breeze. Our Gennius aluminum pergolas open in seconds, leaving only a lightweight aluminum structure visible.
Despite the light footprint, these pergolas are built to resist wind and rain. The fabric is tensioned with gas pistons and anchored to the frame, so the finished result stays streamlined — no visible beams, no visual clutter.

I recently got my Vista View screens installed for my tri-fold sliders. I couldn't be more pleased — from the sales rep presentation to the install. Great company. Highly recommend for top quality custom products.

Review from Diego P.
I reached out to Quality about one month ago. They were very responsive, gave me a great estimate, got the ball rolling, and did an absolutely fantastic job. Excellent service, excellent equipment, excellent retractable awning. Extremely satisfied with everything they have done. The installers came on time and got the job done. Kevin, Steve and Jose did a fantastic, clean, professional install. Very polite, fast and clean. Overly satisfied. Kudos to these guys. Thank you for a great experience, product and install. Don't bother going anywhere else — these are the people for your next project.

Yelp
Review from Rich Ingardia
Excellent product and service. This is the third retractable screen we had installed at our home. They look and work great! Simple to operate and maintain. Our salesperson John Lucariello was informative and helpful, while Danny Carlos provided an excellent and timely installation. Overall, I would recommend this product and their team to anyone interested.

15-year protection
Your system is backed by a 15-year warranty — unheard of in the industry.
Shade is a real investment. Here are the questions Southern California homeowners ask us most — in plain English.
Answers marked “general guidance” are practical rules of thumb, not product specifications. Your written quote and care guide govern your installation.
How much does a custom screen, awning or patio cover cost?
Every QIP system is made to measure, so pricing depends on size, mounting, fabric, motorization and site conditions. A free consultation and measure is the only way to get an accurate number. You'll receive a written quote before you commit, with no obligation.
What does the 15-year warranty cover?
QIP backs its product line with a 15-year warranty — unheard of in the industry. Coverage varies by product and component. Normal wear, misuse and storm damage may be excluded. We provide the written warranty for your exact system with your quote.
How long does manufacturing and installation take?
General guidanceLead times vary by product, size, finish and season. Because each system is made to order, we confirm your production and installation window before you order. Many residential installations are completed in a day or two once the product arrives.
Do I need HOA approval in Southern California?
General guidanceMany HOAs require architectural review before installing awnings, screens or patio covers. We can help you document dimensions, colors and placement for your submittal. Check your CC&Rs and get written approval before installation. This is general information, not legal advice.
What's the difference between a motorized power screen and a disappearing screen door?
A motorized power screen typically covers a large patio or California-room opening and uses a motor to raise and lower the screen. A disappearing screen door is made for a door opening: it pulls across when you need it and retracts out of sight when you don't. Both are custom measured, and we can help you choose.
Can retractable screens and awnings handle wind?
General guidanceRetractable systems are designed to be used when conditions are suitable. In high wind, retract awnings and screens to protect the fabric and hardware. We review your exposure and recommend the right system and operation for your site.
Will exterior shade make my patio cooler?
General guidanceExterior shade reduces direct sun and glare, which can make a patio more comfortable and ease the load on nearby rooms. Actual comfort and energy results vary with exposure, system, windows and weather, so we don't promise a specific temperature or savings number.
Where are QIP products made, and do you serve my area?
QIP manufactures in Corona, California and serves Southern California through our team and authorized dealers, with dealers nationwide. Call 866-421-5993 or send the quote form and we'll confirm coverage for your ZIP code and next steps.
